Our firm: Established in 1995 was originally located in Petaluma, California - and is now located on Cape Cod, in Massachusetts. We’ve been providing complete architectural services to clients in Northern California and beyond for the past 28 years.
We’ve designed a variety of projects, new and remodel, traditional and modern, small and large. From peeled and chinked log construction to corrugated sheet metal structures, we think of ourselves as versatile architects. Sam Wells: Born in Philadelphia, raised in New Jersey. Bachelor of Architecture, Cornell University. Worked for and with his father, architect Malcolm Wells on a number of earth-sheltered structures in the 1970’s. Subsequently worked as an Associate with the Boston firm Shepley, Bulfinch, Richardson & Abbott. And is now attempting to become more musical than his sister, the sculptor Kappy Wells.
Diana Marley: Born in Rhode Island, raised in Massachusetts. Bachelor of Arts, Classics/Fine Arts, College of the Holy Cross. Master of Architecture, University of California Los Angeles. Previous experience included the firms: Shepley, Bulfinch, Richardson & Abbott; LBL/HOK in Los Angeles - plus a bit of time with Frank Gehry & Associates thrown in for good measure. Diana is already musical.
